300 Death Toll Surpassed in Arizona
PHOENIX, ARIZONA, US – Arizona surpassed this Wednesday an accumulated 300 deaths derived from Covid-19. It also surpassed 7,000 infections.
According to the Arizona Department of Health Social Services, the cumulative number of cases was 7,202, while the death toll amounted to 304.
On Tuesday the reports show 254 new infections, eleven deaths, and 1,375 tests.
The contagion rate per 100,000 inhabitants is 100.2, while the mortality rate amounted to 4.23.
Deaths
The county with the most deaths remains Maricopa at 140 and Pima at 80. In border counties like Santa Cruz and Cochise there is no record of Covid-19 related deaths.
Cases
The vast majority of Covid-19 cases have occurred in Maricopa, with a cumulative of 3,723.
In Pima County there are 1,215, in Santa Cruz 32, and in Cochise 38. The rest of the cases occur in the other eleven counties of Arizona.
