22 Firearms Seized in Sonoyta by National Guard
SONOYTA, SONORA, MX – At the Sonoyta, Sonora border, elements of the National Guard achieved a huge win against organizations dedicated to weapon trafficking.
In a statement the National Guard disclosed the seize of 22 firearms, as well as 2,000 cartridges, and tactical equipment.
The seize was made when military was inspecting two units of refrigeration equipment. When they removed some steel sheets, they found several packages inside containing the rifle-type weapons.
Authorities did not provide further details on this case.
