12 Covid-19 Infections in Santa Cruz County

Nogales, Arizona, USA – The number of positive cases for Covid-19 in Santa Cruz County increased to twelve Tuesday night.

According to a press release from the local city government, the last two detected cases are associated to trips to areas of community spread for Coronavirus.

No deaths have been documented in Santa Cruz County at this time.

Since the beginning of the month, the number of cases identified by Covid-19 has increased by 300%, said local authorities.

They invite the community to continue with the strategy of social distancing to prevent more cases.

In related news, local city government announced that Santa Cruz County authorities are coordinating with fresh produce business to distribute unsold food.

“A truck with approximately 18 tons of assorted vegetables will be distributed at Nogales High School this Thursday from 9:00 to 12:00”, announced Local City Government.

They additionally continue distribution at local food banks located in Cochise and Sahuarita.
