1,100 Daily Exports on Average Are Processed Through Nogales

NOGALES, SONORA, MEXICO – Every day Mexico processes an average of 1,100 exportation of trucks through the Mariposa Commercial Port of Entry, confirmed Juan Gim, director of the Nogales, Sonora, Port.

He indicated that the volume of exports from Mexico could be considered normal for this season, and the majority of the processed merchandise is fresh products.

He also noted that imports to Mexico have dropped approximately 38%. Currently they are processing around 400 trucks per day.

The port director added that with the upcoming reopening of industries, there might be an increase in merchandise processed through the port within 15 to 20 days.

He added that Mariposa Port maintains the hours of operation of 8:00 am to 8:00 pm
